Kat Quintana
By Kat Quintana
3 Min Read
  1. Everything is useful.
  2. I’m living to live, not to finish living.
  3. Approaching my health holistically enhances my creativity.
  4. Rest is productive.
  5. I am not meant for everyone.
  6. Personal wellness and business success run parallel.
  7. I don’t have to enjoy my teachers for them to be effective.
  8. I have the power to feel better without substances.
  9. Music is therapy.
  10. Physical possessions don’t define me.
  11. The way I cope with stress has been influenced by generations before me.
  12. Sometimes life isn’t falling apart. I simply need to halt and ask myself, “Am I hungry, angry, lonely, or tired?”
  13. Sometimes life is sorta falling apart. In that case, it’s up to me to learn the difficult lessons presented to me.
  14. My body wasn’t built for social media swiping all day long. (Go figure!)
  15. Most people have good intentions.
  16. The bad advice I’ve received often came from a good place.
  17. The good advice I’ve received often challenged my need for social acceptance.
  18.  Not all humans are meant to eat the same diets.
  19. Taking a year off from writing music was okay, but…don’t let it happen again! 😜
  20. Having an asymmetrical face and body can be adjusted, but it’s not something to stress over.
  21. Most social media audiences need more repetition than we might assume.
  22. People like apologies, but they like changed behavior even more.
  23. I can laugh hysterically by myself for no reason, without placing a negative label on myself.
  24. If I want to learn things the hard way, then I can, but I must take responsibility for my actions.
  25. If I choose to learn things the “easy way” or through faith, life might start feeling steady, uneventful, and even boring. This is good. This is also temporary.
  26. A pure smile can go a long way.
  27. A compassionate hug can go a long way.
  28. Simplifying your content marketing strategy can go a long way.
  29. Writing your rough draft when you’re tired might be the key to your overthinking. You’re too tired to think, let alone overthink. 😂
  30. Feeling nostalgic and sentimental about the past is normal, but don’t let the past define your future vision.
  31. Love is everything.

Cheers to another year of life! Comment below which lesson spoke to you the most.
